Carpenter & Paterson, Inc. is currently hiring for a full-time CNC Saw Operator to work out of our office in Ellijay, GA. CNC Saw Operators are responsible for operating and maintaining the cutting equipment.

- Operate industrial CNC cutting equipment in accordance with the work order.
- Rig and operate lift trucks and overhead cranes.
- Identification and handling of materials.
- Assist the department foreman in meeting production targets.
- Maintain quality standards.
- Keep work area clean and orderly.
- Notify managers concerning any non-conformities and the need for repairs to the facility or equipment.
- Maintain a healthy and safe working environment.
- Candidates must be able to measure quickly and accurately.
- Experience working with steel and material identification such as pipes and beams.
- Knowledge of moving equipment such as lift trucks and overhead cranes.
- Have exceptional attention to detail.
- Have strong computer skills.
- Be able to stand and work in a warm environment for an 8-hour shift.
- Have good working knowledge of figures and numbers.
- Be able to work quickly and efficiently.
- Be able to lift and carry heavy objects (over 50 pounds).
